  1. Just thought I would attempt to make something, even if just a mildly humorous video, out of the dumpster fire of a recording session for that "Time of my life" MG Tribute Video. It's not an actual thing, so don't expect anything particularly good, it's not intended to be. Anyway, hopefully someone will enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it. -Sparrow
  2. First of all, this mod app was posted in the Archive section. The Archive is a place for old mod applications that are no longer active, it's not a place for a new mod application such as this. You need to have a first name AND a last name on RP. I find that a little hard to believe, considering: - It's not exactly a very common name - And a mod app posted a month ago: Now this all might be some big coincidence, but I just thought I'd point this out. You might want to think about getting at least a week of playtime before making a moderator application. What kind of server? If you can't figure out, google the answer (or even better, watch this video~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3aKKasOmIw). Try to give more detail, such as what is considered RDM or RDA, and an example. Perhaps talk of the rules associated with FearRP as well Perhaps give an example How long would the ban be? How would you continue if they cooperate in the sit? If a player ever starts threatening the server and/or other players, this is always a permanent ban. This is something that we take rather seriously. We have a logs system where you can check a variety of things, including who people have killed and who they've been killed by and when the kill took place. Would you ask the players questions? How would you continue depending on the outcome of the sit (there are multiple outcomes, give examples for each)? Lastly, perhaps you should think about giving your application a little colour and make the questions stand out a little more from your answers, making it nicer to look at, and easier to read. ~Sparrow
  3. Well, now I just feel dumb. Thanks for helping out ph33x. I guess this issue is resolved now, so umm.... /requestinglock
  4. @ph33x I'm back on the PC and the internet I'm usually on, and ts just randomly stopped working again today. I can connect to other ts servers just fine, but now for some reason, I get the same "Failed to connect to server" error that I was getting earlier on, whenever I try to connect to MG TS. EDIT: I can connect to MG TS from the "Join button" on the forums home page, but I can't connect using the server address "ts3.streamlineservers.net".
  5. Ban reason: Prop spam (minor, but left when friend was permed) -ph http://monumentalgaming.net/bans/index.php?p=banlist&searchText=STEAM_0%3A0%3A59494586&Submit=
  6. It doesn't appear that any server is really working, and so it's probably just that the internet I'm on isn't stable enough for it. I should be back on more stable internet tomorrow afternoon anyway, so I suppose I'll just wait until then. Thank you for helping me out though, @ph33x. It's much appreciated.

  8. @ph33x It's definitely not blocked by the Firewall now, however I still get the same error when attempting to connect to voice.teamspeak.com Failed to connect to server
  9. @ph33x Same error. Failed to connect to server

  11. Does anybody know why TeamSpeak might not be working for me? It can't seem to be able to connect to the internet, it says "Disconnected" on the bottom right. It says "Failed to connect to server" every time I try to connect to the MG TeamSpeak server. :/ I've no idea why it isn't working, I've already tried reinstalling it and that failed to fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated. -Sparrow
  12. I think that this could greatly improve RP with the police force, it doesn't seem right that cops should be using OOC for this sort of thing, and it would make things easier for cops too. Anyway, thanks for reading the suggestion. -Sparrow
  13. One issue that I have thought about, is that with cars colliding with players the moment you get out, people could easily use this to minge. They can just drive up to someone, and get out as soon as the "victim" is inside the car, thus trapping them in the car. In this situation, the only way for them to escape is to die, get the police to impound the car, or get staff. Most likely, they would just go straight to getting staff, which means more admin sits that shouldn't really be necessary. I agree that a system implementing ideas such as the ones Bobara has suggested would be an improvement to what we currently have. -Sparrow
